The origin of Life is Delicious was created as a result of both my parents being diagnosed with degenerative diseases. I remember them eating their noon day meals at local restaurants and French cafes, 3-5 days a week for 18 years. They enjoyed exotic meat dishes; ostrich, wide bore, alligator and shell fish, lots of rich creamy desserts and very few fruits or vegetables. When they were diagnosed, doctors never referenced that diet could be a possible cause. Some doctors still refuse to make that connection. I began interviewing oncologists, internists, and attended multiple cardiovascular and cancer workshops. My husband and I traveled to Chicago twice to consult with staff at an integrative hospital. I was desperate and needed to know. Finally, the results were in, meat, dairy, and eggs, played a pivotal role. I received certification in whole food plant-based nutrition and two additional certificate programs in order to empower myself, my family and the community. This platform, Life is Delicious, is created to share scientifically proven research how whole foods and simple lifestyle changes can reverse chronic disease and cultivate vitality.
When diet is unhealthy medicine is of no use. When diet is healthy medicine is of no need.
